My Nickel Tour

My name is David Cordeiro - I was born in Brazil. My parents were teachers from New York on a pilgrimage to educate those less fortunate in third world countries. I attended high school in New York and, soon thereafter, joined the U. S. Army. With aid from the U.S. Army, I attended Rochester Institute of Technology to earn my Bachelor of Science Degree is in Electrical Engineering (with a minor in software). While working as an Electrical Engineer, I earned my Master of Science Degree  in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University. Thereafter, I attended law school at Syracuse University (where, in expanding my cultural awareness, I was a visiting student at the University of Hong Kong and Vanderbilt University) and earned my Juris Doctorate degree. After law school, I moved west and, for the most part, have lived in Silicon Valley. I have worked at a large law firm, for many companies, and for myself at my own law firm. I now live in San Ramon, California with my lovely wife, three beautiful daughters, and handsome son (who's away at college). We enjoy the hiking, biking, exploring, traveling and movies. 

I also have a passion to help build phenomenal companies. More particularly, I like building and/or turning around small to medium sized companies to be successful. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed being part of a team that builds great companies, teams, strategies and technology. My style is to work hard and have fun at whatever I do (with a smile on my face and, as an amateur humorist, as much laughter as possible). 

For fun, in addition to the above family activities, I like to run, ski, bike (road and mountain),  motorcycle, and write code. I recently bought a couple retro Ducati sport touring motorcycles from Minnesota, trucked them to California, and rebuilt them (ground up).
